2013

Up until 2012, I had been working in pastels when doing these ocean views, but then I switched over to gouache. Takes longer for each, but ultimately satisfying. I love to paint, but watercolors have always defied my commands, and oils are too cumbersome for plein air. The revise-ability of gouache is what I find most attractive.
All of these are done at day break in the small town of Bethany Beach, Delaware.
